Introduction

The Blue Coat AV 3.1.x release provides anti-virus (AV) scanning capabilities for Web traffic (HTTP, HTTPS) and FTP over HTTP. It requires a deployment where a Blue Coat ProxySG serves as an Internet Content Adaptation Protocol  (ICAP) client.

The Blue Coat ProxyAV provides AV scanning engines from various, selectable vendors. The following vendors are supported in the Blue Coat AV 3.1.2.1 release:
